Kasper Bjørke signs to Plant Music and SONY/BMG

Kaspers first solo album "In Gumbo" will be released across Europe and in the US on september 24th 2007.

Skanderborg Festival 2007

Josephine Philip will join Filur on stage for this years Skanderborg Festival, where they will perform a late night dj set at the P3 stage!

Solo albums from both Tomas and Kasper in 2007

Tomas aka Tom Boy will release his first solo album in march, through Gomma Records where his drumplaying skills as part of Who Made Who is also signed.

Kasper is finishing his solo album at the moment and is in dialouge with several labels about a release of that later this year,

EMPEROR MACHINE REMIXES ON THE WAY ALONG WITH A NEW VIDEO

The title track from the new album Into The Wastend, featuring Stina Nordenstam will see its official release sometime in the spring - including remixes from Buda (danish dub meister and part of Banzai Republic), Jack Schidt (Icelandic superstar dj Margeir who is signed to Pineapple Records) and Dave Meecham from Chicken Lipps under his alias The Emperor Machine.

Album release in Japan.

Avex, the biggest independent label in Japan, will release the 3rd album during september 2006.

ROSKILDE FESTIVAL 2006

Filur is not playing live at this years Roskilde Festival (last time was on the Arena stage in 2003), however you can find Tomas banging the drums in WhoMadeWho, this thursday on the Metropol stage - and Kasper will once again Dj in the Tuborg area (backstage) on friday night, together with Krede, the VERY famous host from the legendary tv-program "Puls"... Have a nice festival!

SOUTH AFRICA

The new album will shortly be released in South Africa through V2 and Just Music.

RELEASE PARTY IN COPENHAGEN MAY 20TH

Saturday May 20th we celebrate the long time coming and official release of our 3rd album "Into The Wasteland" featuring Stina Nordenstam, Blake (ex Gus Gus), Dominique Keegan (The Glass), Josephine Philip (Dullen), Tanja Thulau (Luke) & Hess Is More + others...

The reception takes place at Pixie, a lush new bar here in Copenhagen, situated on Bopa Plads, Østerbro.
From 18 - 20 there are free beers from Tuborg (Hurray Tuborg Task Force!), and Tanqueray Gin (Hurray Diageo!) to fill your stomachs and hearts with love and harmony...

Our friendly friends Buda, Krede & Peder, Dullen & Dyken, Twin of Death, Sean Hate & Georgsch L´Amour will be dj´ing on and off, alongside ourselves on this hopefully sunny saturday late afternoon and night.

Note: Its a small venue, and likely to get quite crowded, so come early for freebees and fun in the sun.

BERLIN 5.th + 6.th MAY

We are djing both seperately, as Filur with Josephine on vocals and Tomas will also be banging the drums with WhoMadeWho Live - all this and more at 103 Club in Berlin this weekend, where we have been invited to take part in a Nordic Festival, also featuring Annie, Kiki, Todd Terje, Coloff (The Knife) and other scandinavian acts. Easyjet is fast and cheaper than driving - so no excuses!
